I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the exemplary service I have received from Nicholas Boodoo.
While attending a roadshow in South America, the organizers recommended that the most direct route would be with TAAG via Angola. Following their advice, I requested Nicholas to proceed with the booking. Unfortunately, my experience with TAAG was abominable. Upon arriving in Luanda, our connecting flight to São Paulo was cancelled until the following day, which meant I would miss my LATAM flight to Chile. Despite TAAG's assurances that they would resolve the issue, they did not.
When I finally landed in São Paulo, I was informed that, due to my ticket being booked in business class, I could only be accommodated on a flight the next day. This was not an option, as I had a workshop to attend. The only way to secure a seat on the flight was to purchase a new ticket. Given the five-hour time difference with South Africa, I was unsure if I would be able to reach Nicholas. However, at 23:15, Nic answered my call, reassured me, and managed to book me onto a new flight—just four minutes before the cut-off! cont...

On Wednesday morning, I woke up to a WhatsApp message from Nic, advising me that he was moving me to LATAM for my return journey, as he had heard that TAAG might go on strike or cancel Friday’s flight. This meant I would now depart on Saturday. I advised the rest of the team, who were also flying with TAAG, to check with their agents. Three of them had booked through another agency , and their agents assured them that everything was fine. However, when they arrived at the airport on Friday, they were informed that their TAAG flight had been cancelled, and they would only be able to depart on Saturday. Upon landing in Luanda, they faced further delays.
Given the extensive travelling I do, it is imperative that I have an agent I can rely on—and Nicholas Boodoo has proven to be exactly that. He is a credit to Envoyage , and I am truly grateful to have found him when I did!
